Thank you for your interest in the Supervisory Committee Academy, a new webinar series designed exclusively for supervisory committee members with sessions starting in August 2015. The sessions will be held once a month and will focus on training issues specific to the needs of the supervisory committee. The Supervisory Committee Academy is partnering with well-known subject matter experts to provide the highest quality training.

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (and their answers) to help you with the process:

  1. How long are the webinars?

90 minutes. They are broken up into three (3) distinct, 30-minute sections, making them convenient to use as professional development with board and committee meetings.

  1. Is there a recording of the webinar? Is that included with the registration?

Yes. And yes. The webinars will be recorded and your purchase will include access to the recording for six (6) months from the recording date.

  1. Can I buy a DVD of the recorded webinar?

We are not offering this option at this time, but please let us know if this is an important feature to you. We’ll consider how we might offer this if we hear from enough people.

  1. How do I pay for the webinars?

We will bill your credit union when you have registered for the webinar. So when you register, please use your credit union address.

  1. Can I register for just one webinar or do I need to sign up for the whole series?

You can sign up for individual sessions. As a matter of fact, that’s all we’re set up to do at this point. We’d love to have you sign up for the WHOLE series at once, but we don’t have a way to do that … yet.

  1. There’s no webinar scheduled in December. How come?

People are just too busy in December to come to webinars. We’ll just pick up again fresh in the new year.
