Spreading the “good word” about credit unions is important to the continued existence of credit unions. With your help, we work hard to promote Montana’s credit unions and highlight the various ways that they are making a difference in their communities and in the lives of their members. We do this by

  • reaching out to the public and other decision makers
  • helping to enhance communication, foster community, and spark creativity, and
  • recognizing the good work of Montana's credit unions, staff, and volunteers.

And , speaking of that good work ...

Below is a short 5 minute video that features some of our credit unions in Montana and testimonials from credit union staff -- people like Steve King, president/CEO of Montana FCU, who says he's been in the credit union business for 36 years enjoyable years.

    Washington, DC (October 15, 2015) – The CUNA/League System significantly impacted the final risk-based capital rule voted on today by the NCUA. The System sought removal of the capital adequacy provisions, reduction in a number of the risk weights and further explanation of the conditions under which goodwill could be included in the risk-based capital ratio.

  • 2014 Holiday Spending Survey

    WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 24, 2014) – More consumers report lower intended holiday spending in 2014 compared to 2013, according to the 15th annual holiday spending survey conducted by the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) and the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
